Moritz Ostruschnjak
Moritz Ostruschnjak, a dancer choreographer and teacher. He has performed with Staatstheater Nürnberg, Nationaltheater Mannheim, with the Göteborgs Operans Danscompani, Introdans in Arnhem, Fabulous Dance Theatre and Ultima Vez in Brussels. He has worked with numerous choreographers including; Maurice Béjart, Sasha Waltz, Stijn Celis, Rui Horta,Wim Vandekeybus, Michael Keegan -Dolan and Roberto Zappala. Since 2013 he is working as a freelance choreographer. His pieces, including Madness of the Gods 2.0 and Super Animal were showcased in Italy and Gothenburg (Sweden). After the successful production Island of only oneland in 2015, his new work Hybrid (working title) with the support of the Landeshauptstadt München and the BLZT will premiere at schwere reiter in december 2016.
Class description:
We will start each morning with a short physical routine based on martial arts, tai-chi and yoga exercises. The main part of the class will be a set of games though which main focus is to enhance playfulness and creativity in movement in a non-judgmental way. We will be closing our eyes, use our voice, clap our hands and dance our asses off.
