Daniela Bendini of Finnish/Italian origins, she has been working with different European companies such as Centre Choreographique Roubaix Carolyn Carlson, Compagnia Zappalà Danza, Susanna Leinonen Company, , Helena Franzen, ITdansa among others.

For several years she has been working as dancers and assistant to Roberto Zappala in many of his creations and as a teacher for different institutions and companies, including the Goteborg’s Opera Dance Company, Skanes Dansteater, The Helsinki City Theater,  Danscentrum Stockholm and Väst , ArtEZ Dansacademie Arnhem and others.

As a choreographer she has been performing her own works in different Italian festivals and theatres. Since 2013 she started her artistic collaboration with Moritz Ostruschnjak, german dancer and choreographer based in Munich. She worked actively in Ostruschnjak’s creations such as Unstern (2018) BOIDS (2017) Text Neck (2016) Island of only one land (2015). Together they also created for the Minute Made project inside of the Gaertnerplatztheater, DCHS for Stadtstheater Giessen, Super Animal for the Nudansproject of the Goteborgsoperan.

Since 2015/2016 she has been part of the Ballet of the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz as vice Director of Ballet Company and Rehearsal director.

Class description:

The class starts by warming up using Elements of different disciplines (yoga, martial arts, tai chi) Working on Fluidity flexibility and strength I propose short exercises to strengthen the center and develop a good relationship with the lower and upper part of the body.

Through A combination of small repetitive phrases and some impro tasks I work with a continuous flowing that allows the dancer to get in touch with himself. Continuing moving through space with curves, lines and through harder technical challenges we will gain awareness and vitality. The class usually ends up with a jump session to work the stamina, rhythm, different dynamics and to experience a free and joyful moment with the group.

Time: Monday – Friday 09:30am – 11:00am

Price: 5,- € per class or 20,-€ for the whole week
