Valerio Porleri

Valerio Porleri received his education at the Dance Arts Faculty in Rome and at the Iwanson International School of Contemporary Dance in Munich. As a freelance dancer he has worked for the Bavarian State Opera, Bregenz Festival and companies such as the Nunzio Impellizzeri Dance Company, Why Company and the eVolution Dance Theater. Other engagements followed for the new production of the Munich Opera Festival “Tonguecat”, in the solo role of “Prometheus” and as a singer and dancer in the musicals “Alice Opera Contemporanea” and “The Wizard of Oz”. Valerio Porleri danced among others for choreographers such as Aafke de Jong, Alan Brooks, Otto Pichler, Ryan Mason, Cristina D’Alberto, Peter Mika, Nadine Gerspacher, Pedro Dias (DE, PT), Angelika Meindl (DE) and Valentina Versino (IT). For Marte Live in Rome he created two solo dance pieces “The Secret Door” and “La Via del Samurai”. Valerio Porleri continues to work as a freelance dancer and dance teacher and currently lives in Munich.

Valerio Porleri erhielt seine Ausbildung an der Dance Arts Faculty in Rom und an der Iwanson International School of Contemporary Dance in München. Als freischaffender Tänzer hat er für die Bayerische Staatsoper, Bregenzer Festspiele und Kompanien wie die Nunzio Impellizzeri Dance Company, Why Company und das eVolution Dance Theater gearbeitet. Weitere Engagements folgten für die Neuproduktion der Münchner Opernfestspiele “Tonguecat”, in der Solorolle von “Prometheus” und als Sänger und Tänzer in den Musicals “Alice Opera Contemporanea” und “Der Zauberer von Oz”. Valerio Porleri tanzte u.a. für Choreographen wie Aafke de Jong (NL), Alan Brooks (DE), Otto Pichler (AT), Ryan Mason (DE), Cristina D’Alberto (DE, IT), Peter Mika (ES), Nadine Gerspacher (DE), Pedro Dias (DE, PT), Angelika Meindl (DE) und Valentina Versino (IT). Für Marte Live in Rom kreierte er zwei Solo-Tanzstücke “The Secret Door“ und “La Via del Samurai“. Valerio Porleri arbeitet weiterhin als freischaffender Tänzer und Tanzpädagoge und lebt zurzeit in München.
