short bio:
Lotta Sandborgh is a dance artist from Sweden based in Brussels. She has worked as a dancer, dance teacher and choreographer in various contexts around Europe’s international dance scene. Her latest collaborations include Ultima Vez/Wim Vandekeybus, Staatstheater Braunschweig, Cooperativa Maura Morales, Bobbi Lo Produktion, Judith Sanchéz Ruíz and others. Lotta is also active with her own work and has presented her own works on stages and festivals such as Internationalen Bühnenwerkstatt Graz, HAUT Åben Dans Roskilde, Florence Dance Festival, Tanzzentrale Fürth, Hier ist Jetzt and more.
class description:
It is a highly physical class where we go from a soft warm up flow, to fundamental techniques within contemporary dance into explosive dancing. We will train floorwork, running, jumps, learning phrases and focus on specific “moves” or acrobatic skills. Improvisation tasks and games are also part of the training in order to stay alert and keep a playful approach to dance and movement.
