Ami Shulman is a movement artist who is captivated by the mysteries of movement and the powers of the human mind. Ami is a rehearsal director, a dramaturg, educator, certified Feldenkrais Practitioner and an Intimacy Coordinator. Ami has worked with the GöteborgsOperans Danskompani; Nederlands Dans Theater; National Theatre of London; Cirque du Soleil; Juilliard School; b12 and Springboard amongst others. Ami loves to mentor artists at the various stages of their artistic and personal journey.

Ami Shulman teaches a class that expands the interpretive possibilities of the performer. This somatically inspired approach awakens the imagination, aligning one’s sensory acuity with a deep visceral engagement promoting both high definition in movement while cultivating the artistic expression.
