Lebt und arbeitet als freie Choreographin in München, ist Mitglied der Tanztendenz e.V., und produziert seit Jahren Tanztheater mit internationalen Tänzer*innen und Schauspieler*innen. Von 2004-2017 war sie mit ihrer Company in Residence an der Schauburg und gewann ein großes, vielfältiges, generationsübergreifendes, und multikulturelles Publikum. Ihr choreographischer Stil, der sich durch die langjährige Arbeit mit Schauspieler*innen entwickelte (sie unterrichtet an der Otto-Falckenberg-Schule, choreographiert, und coacht für Theater und Film), lässt weniger das abstrakte Bewegungsmaterial in den Vordergrund treten, als vielmehr die Suche nach der Übersetzung menschlicher Geschichten in die universelle Sprache des Körpers. Wesentlich wird die Geschichte, der Zusammenklang von Schauspiel / Tanz / Musik, und die künstlerischen Persönlichkeiten ihrer Company. Ihre Tanztheater wurden zu internationalen Festivals und Wettbewerben eingeladen, gewannen Publikums- und Kritikerpreise. Seit 2016 produziert sie zusammen mit Birgitta Trommler die jährliche Künstler-für Künstler-Initiative HIER=JETZT – Plattform für zeitgenössischen Tanz in München.

Resident as a freelance choreographer in Munich and member of the Tanztendenz e.V., she creates for a long time dance theater with international dancers and actors. From 2004 – 2017 she was with her company in residence at Schauburg Munich and has been able to generate a very diverse, cross-generational, and multicultural audience. Her choreographic style, developed through many years of working with actors (she teaches at Otto-Falckenberg-Schule, choreographs and coaches for theatre and film), focuses less on abstract movement material and more on the search translating human stories into the universal language of the body. Essential becomes the story, the harmony of acting / dance / music, as well as the artistic personalities of her company. Her productions were invited to international festivals, theatre-competitions and were award winning of audience and critic prices. Since 2016 she produces in collaboration with Birgitta Trommler the annual artist-for-artist initiative HIER=JETZT- platform for contemporary dance in Munich.

WS: Tanztheater
Der WS spielt mit dem „performing body“ in vielfältigen Facetten der interaktiven Beziehung, und mit seinem Repertoire jenseits des abstrakten Tanzes. Es geht um situative Bewegung, spezifische Interaktion, die Schwelle zwischen spielerischem Gestus und Tanz, um Sprache als Fortsetzung der körperlichen Kommunikation, und um Improvisation mit Themen des Spiels in Fusion mit tänzerischem Vokabular. Themenschwerpunkte des WS sind sowohl Improvisationstechniken des Schauspiels, als auch Tools der zeitgenössischen Tanzimprovisation, z.B. Viewpoints, Körperlichkeiten für Figuren, Partnering, Contact Improvisation, Situative Improvisation, Entwicklung von Charakteren. In Gruppenimprovisationen werden Intuition, Impulsarbeit und kinesthetic awareness trainiert. In Soli und Duetten werden Interaktion, spielerisches Potential von Bewegung, und situatives improvisieren vertieft, so dass sich Tanz-Theater als Zusammenklang von Schauspiel und Tanz erleben lässt.
Wünschenswert ist natürlich eher eine kontinuierliche Teilnahme am WS, da die Themen aufeinander aufbauen und sich dann konsequenter vertiefen lassen.

WS: dance theatre
The WS plays with the “performing body” in multiple facets of the interactive relationship, and with its repertoire beyond abstract dance. It is about situational movement, specific interaction, the threshold between playful gesture and dance, language as a continuation of physical communication, and improvisation with themes of play in fusion with dance vocabulary. Topics of the WS are improvisation techniques of acting as well as tools of contemporary dance improvisation, so as viewpoints, physicalities for characters, partnering, contact improvisation, situational improvisation, development of characters. In group improvisations intuition, impulses and kinesthetic awareness will be trained. In soli and duets the interactions, the acting potential of movement and the improvisation in specific situations will be explored, in order to make the synthesis of acting and dance in dance-theatre become a physical experience.
Of course, continuous participation in the WS is more desirable, as the topics build on each other and can then be deepened more consistently.
