Matteo Carvone is an Italian choreographer and dancer based in Munich, Germany. Graduated in 2007 at the Dance Haus in Milan, Carvone had danced and contribute in the creations for choreographers such: Alexander Ekman/Orionteatern, Jo Strømgren Kompani Oslo, Karl Alfred Schreiner/Gärtnerplatztheather, Marco Goeke, Robin Olryn, Michael Keegan-Dolan, William Forsythe, Emanuel Gat, Benoît Lachambre, Wayne McGregor, Ismael Ivo, and many others. Carvone is in search of a type of performance in which dance, voice and audiovisual installation have equal footing. Among others his works have been staged at the Philharmonie am Gasteig in Munich, La Biennale di Venezia and the Gärtnerplatztheather.
