class description:
The training is physical and energetic, blending concepts from sports science with the distinctive qualities of contemporary dance. Rejecting the conventional approach of imposing a specific movement style or prescribing choreography, the class unfolds organically—from guided improvisation to connect with the body, to focused bodywork and strength exercises that refine basic movement patterns, and progressing to more complex sequences, both on and off the floor, with an emphasis on expansive movements and flow.
A key aspect of the training is analyzing the logic behind each exercise and movement sequence to enhance both energy efficiency and impact. By exploring and optimizing the processes within one’s own body, the training fosters a sense of simplicity and ease. Ultimately, this creates space for choreographic decisions and personal interpretation.
