Born in Munich, Paula received her dance education at the ArtEZ University of the Arts in Arnhem, The Netherlands and is working as a dancer and performer across Europe since 2018. She performed for various choreographers and companies (Theater Bonn, Cia. Nadine Gerspacher, Caroline Finn, animi motus, Ceren Oran, NEUER TANZ…) Since 2020 she is creating her own work and currently touring her production „Ode an die Dinge“ together with Laura Saumweber as well as her solo „Agatha“.

Paula (geb. in München) erhielt ihre tänzerische Ausbildung an der ArtEZ University of the Arts in Arnheim, Niederlande und arbeitet seit 2018 europaweit als Tänzerin und Performerin. Sie tanzte für zahlreiche Choreograf*innen und Theater (Theater Bonn, Cia. Nadine Gerspacher, Caroline Finn, animi motus, Ceren Oran, NEUER TANZ…) Seit 2020 entwickelt sie ihre eigenen Arbeiten und tourt derzeit ihre Produktion „Ode an die Dinge“ zusammen mit Laura Saumweber, sowie ihr Solo „Agatha“.
Class description:
Playing with the energies.
During this week the aim is to find dynamic in details and details in dynamic. We focus on being friendly with, and using the floor, getting inspired by every person in the room, using our personal skills and knowledge to find flow in acrobatic movements. We research what it means to be moved by the bones or by the muscles and how we can be present in the now, in this very moment. We explore the space above us, playing with gravity and momentum.
The class starts with an interactive warm up of every inch of our body and mind, playful and strengthening. Moving on to exercises on the floor, through the room, with each other and alone, physical and theatrical, always feeling the group. Towards the end we search our individuality in a movement phrase in which we work technically as well as improvisational, with the ongoing aim of being in the present moment.
