class description:
My class will offer a variety of different exercises involving improvisation, floorwork, games, strength and conditioning, and contact improvisation. The structure and themes are always flexible and ready to be adapted spontaneously according to the desires of those in the room on the day. I create classes that offer ideas to promote a sense of confidence in the individual. Zooming between the macro and the micro, the individual and the collective.
Different exercises, progressions and games will encourage the dancers to take the time and space to test and make individual discoveries. Building a library of knowledge that will promote a sense of self confidence and assurance while working alone or as a collective in contact. Having these skills and tools available to you will broaden the palette of skills you hold within your body, leading you to feel more confident no matter the situation you might find yourself in the future.
Looking forward to seeing you in the studio!
